Hallowmere

Hallowmere makes spatial data queryable by developers who are not geospatial specialists, which is nearly all of them.

Why we investedInfrastructure / Seed 2019

What we saw in Hallowmere.

Location data sits in formats designed for a specialist tool chain. Most teams give up and store a latitude and longitude, then rebuild the hard parts badly.

Sofie maintained an open source library that thousands of engineers already relied on. The commercial product answered the question those users kept asking her.

Developer tools are hard to monetise and easy to love. We spent our diligence on whether the paid layer solved a budget-holder problem. It did.
